Parke Gordon Law is proud to announce our 2026 Play Bold Scholarship. This scholarship aims to recognize outstanding female athletes and raise awareness for more female athletic representation.
At our firm, we understand the importance of female representation in athletics. Our co-founder, Brent Gordon, is passionate about helping female athletes move forward. He filed a Title IX Lawsuit that added opportunities for female athletes in local schools to even out participation and has supported access and opportunities for female athletes to participate in contact sports for female athletes, such as wrestling and tackle football.

Eligibility
- The scholarship is open to current high school seniors, vocational students, undergraduate students, and graduate students who are legal residents of the United States, including the 50 states and the District of Columbia, and who are enrolled in a vocational program or an accredited two- or four-year post-secondary institution.
- Employees of Parke Gordon Law, as well as their immediate family members (including parents, children, siblings, and spouses) and individuals residing in the same household, whether related or not, are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be in good academic standing to be considered for this scholarship.
Application Requirements
- The candidate must fill out the form below with all necessary information
- The candidate must submit a 750-1,000 word essay response to the prompt: What gender inequalities have you observed in athletic competitions and what impact do those inequalities have on participants?
- Please note that all essays will be checked for AI writing. If AI writing is deemed present in the essay, the application will be denied.
- The candidate must submit a professional resumé that lists their experience, both professional and academic.
- The candidate must submit a transcript from their current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, as well as the most recent official transcript from their prior school. High school students can submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.
- Preference will be given to students either from or attending secondary school in the state.
The recipient of the Play Bold Scholarship will be chosen during the month following the scholarship deadline.
