Bad weather lead to semi truck accident in Caldwell Tuesday evening according to Idaho State Police. A three-vehicle pileup occurred on I-84 in Caldwell from low visibility caused by blowing dust. The accident originated from a car stopping on the interstate because they could not see in front of them. Next, the car was rear-ended by a semi truck who was then rear-ended by another semi truck. It was reported that the impact of the crash caused the car to roll off the right side of the road. The driver was taken to a medical center for examination. It is unknown whether the driver was wearing a seatbelt. Traffic was blocked for four hours while the semi truck accident was cleared.
