Fatal Semi Truck Accident in Meridian

Idaho State Police reported a fatal semi truck accident in Meridian on Interstate 84. A vehicle traveling westbound struck the back of a semi truck then struck the barrier in the median. Officials said the driver of car that hit the semi truck was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. The driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the semi truck accident. The driver of the semi truck was not injured. Traffic of the two left lanes were blocked for about two and a half hours while crews worked to clear the accident. Idaho State Police are still investigating this semi truck accident.
