A fatal Spokane car accident involving a log truck occurred on Trent Avenue in Spokane. Reports indicate that a vehicle was traveling westbound on Trent Avenue when it veered into the left turn lane and hit an eastbound vehicle already in the turning lane. Afterwards, the car then hit a log truck head-on. The driver was airlifted from the car crash to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, that driver died at the hospital from injuries according to Washington State Patrol. No injuries were reported of the drivers of the other vehicle and the log truck. The cause of the car accident is still under investigation.
