Injury Crash and Wrongful Death from Driver Hitting Farm Implement

Idaho State Police reported an injury crash and later a wrongful death from a driver hitting a farm implement. A John Deere tractor was pulling a farm implement on US95 when the driver of a Volvo struck the rear end of the farm implement. The Volvo came to rest in a nearby field. The driver of the Volvo was transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital. Her passenger was air lifted to a nearby medical center with serious injuries. It was reported that the passenger later died from injuries sustained from the accident. It was also reported that neither the driver of the passenger of the Volvo was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. Idaho State Police reported that both northbound lanes of US95 were blocked from two hours and forty-eight minutes following the crash.
