Idaho State Police investigated an injury semi truck accident near Boise. Officials say a semi truck driver crossed over the middle line on US95 sideswiping an oncoming pickup truck. The pickup truck left the roadway and went down the right side embankment. At the time of the semi truck accident, the driver of the pickup truck and his passenger were not wearing seatbelts. The driver was taken by ground ambulance and the passenger was air lifted to a nearby medical center for evaluation of injuries. Traffic was blocked for approximately four hours while crews worked to clear the scene of the accident.
