A semi truck accident from driver overcorrecting occurred northeast of Parma according to Idaho State Police. The driver of the semi truck was driving eastbound on Interstate 84 when he drove off the right shoulder. Overcorrecting, the semi truck returned to the road and crossed through the median hitting an oncoming automobile. The semi truck came to rest in the shoulder of the westbound lanes. Both drivers were air lifted to a nearby hospital for injury evaluation. It is unknown the condition of the drivers. A passenger in the semi truck was taken by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. The two riding in the semi truck were not wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. A lane of westbound traffic was blocked for about four hours while crews worked to clear the semi truck accident. The crash is still being investigated by Idaho State Police.
