Emergency respondents had to remove the woman from her crushed sedan. She was then transported by Life Flight to a nearby hospital for evaluation of injuries. The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The drivers of the other two vehicles involved in the car crash suffered minor injuries but declined to be transported for medical evaluations. Officials say the roadway was shut down for two hours after the crash while crews worked to clear the accident.
