Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian vs. car accident in Spokane County. A man was attempting to cross Hayford Road from east to west when a driver traveling southbound struck him. Following the accident, the driver initially stopped but later fled the area south. Medical personnel responded to the man, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Investigators continued to gather evidence from the scene.
