Boise Police responded to a hit and run injury accident which occurred around 10:30 PM Tuesday in downtown Boise. A pedestrian was crossing the street when he was hit by a vehicle. Boise Police released a news release stating his injuries were serious but not life-threatening. The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries. An investigation of the hit and run injury accident shows the pedestrian walking northbound on 13tStreet on the west side of the intersection when he was hit by the suspect’s vehicle driving eastbound on Myrtle. The suspect continued to drive past the injury accident and has yet to be found. A number of witnesses were interviewed by police and evidence from the scene was collected by police. However, a description of the vehicle has not been released.
